Strategic Innovation for Law Firms
Intermezzo has developed a range of strategic advisory services for law firms under its ChangingStrategies brand. These services are aimed at law firms who wish to take full advantage of the proposed reforms under the Legal Services Act 2007, which will enable large companies such as supermarkets or motoring organisations to own law firms or employ lawyers and offer legal services directly to their customers.
ITC BET Awards Sponsored by Baker Tilly
Intermezzo developed and coordinated a new business award for the Information Technologist Company, a City livery company. The Best Entrepreneurial Team (BET) Award was aimed at new venture top mangement teams from IT companies as well as companies from other industries that make significant use of IT.
Call Connection, who provide a call handling service for the financial services industry, was voted the Best Entrepreneurial Team in the UK by a panel of judges led by Sir George Cox, Chairman of The Design Centre. Call Connection’s management team led by Graeme Kalbraier received the ITC BET Award at a gala ceremony that also celebrated the ITC’s 15th anniversary of its livery status. Call Connection’s prize included £5,000 for the charity of its choice.
HGBC Business Accelerator
The HGBC Business Accelerator is a 5-day action learning programme tailored specifically for MDs/Chief Executives of SMEs with high growth business potential. The programme is delivered by a team of ChangingStrategies faculty members, consisting of business experts with a combination of practical entrepreneurial experience and allied academic research skills.
